The Pacific Air Lines Story

Regarded as the original no-frills airline, Pacific actually started out as Southwest Airways in 1941. Not until 1958 did they become Pacific Airlines. That name only lasted 10 years until they were merged into Bonanza Air Lines.

Their first route was between Los Angeles to San Francisco in a DC-3 with several stops in between. By 1952, they connected 23 cities.
