About Zimmerly Airlines
Idaho's first airline started in 1938 by Bert Zimmerly. It changed its name to Empire Airlines when it began operating interstate flights into Washington State. Zimmerly (then Empire) operated out of Clarkston, Idaho, until 1952 when it merged into West Coast Airlines.Features
